Courageous Girls Escape Kidnapping Attempt in Bihar

In a display of bravery, a group of young girls foiled a kidnapping attempt at a fair in Bihar’s West Champaran district. The incident took place in Bahuarwa Khurd village, near Narkatiaganj. The girls were targeted by a man, Hasumuddin Miyan, who tried to lure them away from the fair with promises of money. When the girls resisted, he grabbed them, but they fought back, biting him and alerting others. The villagers, upon learning of the incident, informed the police, who subsequently arrested the suspect. The girls’ quick thinking and courage prevented a potentially tragic outcome, though the incident has left the community on edge.
