A newly married woman from Bihar died in Delhi under questionable circumstances, leading to allegations of foul play. The deceased’s family has accused her husband and in-laws of murder.

The victim had recently moved to Delhi with her husband, who worked there. They lived in a rented accommodation in Pandav Nagar. The family claims that the husband had an affair and that the victim possessed evidence of it. An FIR has been filed with the Mandawali police station.

Mayuri married Vipul Kumar on March 6, 2025. Her family alleges that Vipul, along with his parents, brother, and girlfriend Ritika, were responsible for her death, attempting to make it appear like a suicide. Mayuri’s mother, Poonam Singh, stated that her daughter had informed her about her husband’s affair and had proof. Mayuri’s brother, Gaurav Kumar, said that Vipul informed him about the suicide, but the body was found on the floor before the police arrived.

Police have arrested Vipul, and an investigation is underway. The family is demanding justice and the arrest of the other suspects. The police are conducting raids to apprehend the absconding accused.
