In a tragic incident in Bihar’s Vaishali district, 25-year-old Sachin Kumar lost his life while trying to escape a pack of stray dogs on his bike. The accident occurred late night in Hajipur’s Vastu Bihar Phase-1 area under the Industrial police station jurisdiction. CCTV footage captured the horrifying sequence of events, shedding light on the sudden mishap.
Sachin, a resident of Khopi village in Jandaha police station area, was living in a rented house in Vastu Bihar Phase-1. Around 11 PM, as a car passed through the lane followed by a group of dogs, Sachin’s bike entered the scene. The dogs abruptly shifted their chase to the bike, causing the rider to lose control. In a desperate bid to avoid them, his bike collided with the car, hurling him to the ground. He succumbed to injuries on the spot.
Family members arrived at the hospital after receiving news from Kolkata about the accident, only to learn of his death. Sachin’s uncle, Pintu Kumar Singh, questioned the circumstances, demanding a thorough police probe. Uncle Shyam Sundar Singh added that Sachin was riding with three friends that night, yet only he met with this fate, raising suspicions.
Industrial police station head Arvind Paswan confirmed initial findings point to the dog chase causing the fall. CCTV review is underway, though footage clarity is an issue. The body underwent postmortem at Sadar Hospital Hajipur and was handed over to kin. Investigations continue to unravel full details of this unfortunate event.
