Bihar is witnessing a heated political debate regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists. This has ignited a verbal battle between the Mahagathbandhan and the NDA. Key figures like MP Upendra Kushwaha and Union Minister Giriraj Singh have weighed in. Kushwaha criticized the Mahagathbandhan, while Singh targeted Rahul Gandhi. Simultaneously, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) protested against the state government based on a CAG report.

Kushwaha dismissed the Mahagathbandhan’s complaints about voter lists, implying they lack substantial support. He downplayed the impact of their planned rallies.

Giriraj Singh questioned Rahul Gandhi’s electoral success, hinting at the influence of ‘invisible voters.’ He criticized those questioning the Election Commission’s integrity and expressed skepticism about the unity between Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav.

The Aam Aadmi Party, led by Rakesh Yadav, protested at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Bihar. The protest focused on the CAG report, which revealed significant financial discrepancies. The CAG report highlighted that the Bihar government failed to account for roughly ₹71,000 crore. The report suggested that, without proper documentation, the funds may have been misused.
