In a recent interview, Bihar Minister Jivesh Mishra discussed the political landscape of Bihar, focusing on the role of Prashant Kishor and his Jan Suraaj Party. Mishra claimed that Kishor’s primary goal is to attract votes away from the BJP to enable Tejashwi Yadav to form a government. He added that Kishor himself will not be contesting the upcoming elections.

When asked about Kishor’s accusations against the BJP, including allegations against party members, Mishra dismissed them as tactics for self-promotion. He stressed that Kishor’s actions are centered around supporting Tejashwi Yadav. Responding to claims that Kishor’s party is a proxy for the BJP, Mishra said the election results will provide a definitive answer.

Addressing concerns about the ED, Mishra stated the agency only investigates individuals with credible accusations against them. He denied that the BJP interferes in the ED’s investigations.

Mishra highlighted the government’s achievements, such as reducing the state’s migration rate from 11% to 2%. He also mentioned the establishment of new factories, the creation of employment opportunities, and infrastructure development, giving credit to Nitish Kumar’s leadership in bringing positive change to Bihar.

Regarding Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s health, Mishra suggested that the CM’s rigorous schedule would be too demanding for Tejashwi Yadav. He also commented on the health of Lalu Prasad Yadav, advising him to retire from active politics. Mishra also stated that he maintains a positive relationship with Tej Pratap Yadav.
