Lalu Yadav took action by expelling him from the party and disowning him, an announcement made on social media. In an interview, Tej Pratap expressed feeling isolated. He gave his blessings to his younger brother, Tejashwi Yadav. He asserted that he is not afraid of anyone. When asked about forming a new party, he said that he would go to the people. He has extended his support to his father and expressed his desire for his brother to become the Chief Minister of Bihar. Tej Pratap has also stated that he has always respected his parents. He stated that he feels unsafe and appealed to the government to increase his security, citing potential threats. He also mentioned that he has never thought badly of anyone.
