The AIMIM is set to stage a protest in Patna on June 29 to oppose the Waqf Amendment law. Akhtarul Iman has called upon the Muslim community to attend the rally. He criticized the law as an attempt by the Modi government to hide its shortcomings and deemed it unconstitutional. Iman expressed solidarity with Iran during the Israel-Iran conflict. He stated that the implementation of the Waqf law is a deliberate attempt by the current government to create conditions similar to a civil war. Iman urged people to join the protest to safeguard their identity and preserve their traditions, including religious practices and the protection of cemeteries. He also offered his commentary on the re-election of Lalu Prasad Yadav to the post of RJD president.
