    The Odisha government has appointed Saswat Mishra, a 1996-batch IAS officer, as the Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, following an administrative shake-up in the wake of the Saradhabali stampede. Mishra will continue to hold his existing responsibilities as Principal Secretary, Finance Department, and Chairman, IDCO, in addition to his new role. The previous holder of the post was relieved on May 2nd. Furthermore, the government has also appointed Arvind Agarwal as overall in-charge of Rath Yatra and Pinak Mishra as the new SP, with Chanchal Rana assuming the role of Puri Collector.
