The Parliament’s Monsoon Session resumed at 11 am on its third day. The Opposition was set to amplify its demands for a discussion on the Pahalgam terror attack and the controversial revision of voter rolls in Bihar. Disruptions caused by Opposition MPs on Tuesday brought both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha to a standstill for the second straight day.

Opposition leaders in the Lok Sabha entered the Well of the House at 11 am, holding placards and chanting slogans, protesting the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls in Bihar. Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan requested that Question Hour proceed, but the protests continued, resulting in Speaker Om Birla adjourning the House until noon. Multiple adjournments followed due to similar disruptions each time the House reconvened.

The Rajya Sabha encountered similar scenes, marked by persistent uproar over the same issues. The Upper House adjourned for the day shortly after reconvening at 2 pm, without transacting any business.
