    In a ceremony held in Sitamarhi, Bihar, Union Home Minister Amit Shah laid the foundation stone for the Maa Sita temple at Punaura Dham. The event was attended by prominent figures including Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha. Kumar announced a central government plan to redevelop the Maa Janki temple complex with an investment of Rs 883 crores. He also highlighted efforts to improve connectivity between Sitamarhi and Ayodhya through infrastructure enhancements, alongside the introduction of a new train service to Delhi. Deputy CM Vijay Sinha celebrated the occasion as a pivotal moment for Bihar’s prosperity and the Prime Minister’s development goals. Shah had previously highlighted the day’s significance for the entire nation and Mithilanchal, specifically focusing on the extensive development plan for the Punaura Dham Temple. This initiative was also welcomed by Union Ministers Giriraj Singh and Chirag Paswan, who considered it a historic step.
