Union Minister Chirag Paswan has responded to Rahul Gandhi’s election-related statements by claiming that the Congress MP has already conceded defeat in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. Paswan urged Gandhi to address issues within his own party, the Congress, rather than criticizing the Election Commission. He viewed Gandhi’s accusations against the election process as indicative of an acceptance of defeat. Paswan also predicted further electoral setbacks for the Congress in Assam and Bengal. In contrast, Tejashwi Yadav of the RJD supported Gandhi’s criticisms, accusing the BJP of controlling constitutional institutions. Yadav claimed that the BJP IT cell is privy to election schedules before they are announced. Rahul Gandhi had previously expressed dissatisfaction with the Election Commission’s response to his allegations concerning the Maharashtra elections.
