The Gujarat state government has announced a substantial overhaul of its cabinet, appointing 26 new ministers. Among the prominent names featured in the newly formed council is Rivaba Jadeja, wife of cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, signaling a notable addition to the political ranks. This extensive cabinet reshuffling occurred a day after all ministers, apart from Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, stepped down from their positions. The new team comprises individuals such as Swaroopji Thakor, Pravenkumar Mali, Rushikesh Patel, Darshna Waghela, Kunvarji Bavaliya, Arjun Modhwadia, Parshottam Solanki, Jitendra Waghani, Praful Pansheriya, Harsh Sanghvi, and Kanubhai Desai. Following discussions with Governor Acharya Devvrat, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has secured permission for the swearing-in ceremony of the new appointees. Minister Praful Pansheriya affirmed his adherence to the party’s decisions, expressing his commitment to serve wherever assigned.
