CHANDIGARH: Punjab leader minister-designate Bhagwant Mann will post his resignation as a member of parliament on Monday, birthday celebration resources mentioned right here.
Mann is a two-time Lok Sabha MP from Sangrur parliamentary constituency. The 48-year-old AAP chief shall be sworn-in as Punjab’s leader minister on March 16.
The oath-taking rite shall be held at Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral village of mythical freedom fighter Bhagat Singh within the Nawanshahr district.
The AAP romped house by way of successful 92 seats within the 117-member Punjab meeting. It decimated the Congress and the SAD-BSP mix.
Mann received from Dhuri meeting seat after defeating Congress candidate Dalvir Singh Goldy by way of a margin of 58,206 votes.
