In a disturbing case, a college student in Bengaluru was allegedly gang-raped by her physics and biology teachers and a mutual friend. The police have taken all three individuals into custody.
The victim was reportedly subjected to blackmail and repeated sexual assaults. The accused have been identified as Narendra, a physics teacher, Sandeep, a biology teacher, and their friend, Anoop. Narendra initially gained the victim’s trust by offering academic help, eventually using this to lure her to a location where she was assaulted.
Following the first assault, Sandeep threatened to make private photographs of the victim public if she refused to comply with his demands, after which he participated in a further assault at Anoop’s residence. The victim’s parents reported the incident to the State Commission for Women, which led to a police case being registered and the arrests.
