    A devastating incident unfolded in Doddaballapura, Bengaluru Rural district, during the Ganesh Visarjan procession. An explosion from a box of fireworks claimed the life of a 15-year-old boy, Tanush Rao, and left six others injured, including a police constable. The tragedy occurred in Muttur on Friday, August 29th, between 5:45 and 6:00 PM. The Friends Yuva Group organized the Ganesh Visarjan. The explosion originated from a box of fireworks that was on a lifting vehicle involved in the procession. Authorities are investigating the cause, suspecting a possible ignition due to heat.
