    A meeting between Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy CM DK Shivakumar, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh took place in New Delhi. The central topics of discussion were the proposed defence corridor in Bengaluru and the possibility of hosting an air show during the Mysuru Dasara festival. Siddaramaiah requested permission for the air show and also proposed setting up a defence corridor in Karnataka similar to those in Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh. The Chief Minister stated that Rajnath Singh was receptive to the proposals. They also discussed acquiring defense land for development projects.
