KOLKATA: In a bold statement that has electrified West Bengal’s political landscape, BJP state president Sanjay Jaiswal declared that the people of Bengal will ultimately choose the next Chief Minister. Speaking at a massive rally in the heart of the city, Jaiswal emphasized the growing disillusionment with the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) and its long-time leader Mamata Banerjee.
“The people of Bengal are fed up with corruption, violence, and misgovernance,” Jaiswal thundered to thunderous applause from thousands of supporters. He pointed to recent electoral setbacks for TMC in the Lok Sabha polls as a clear sign of shifting tides. “Mamata Banerjee’s era is ending. The next CM will be decided not in Nandigram or Kalighat, but by the voters of this great state.”
