Arunachal Pradesh imposes night time curfew, different COVID restrictions until January 31

ITANAGAR: In view of an upsurge in COVID-19 instances, the Arunachal Pradesh executive on Tuesday imposed night time curfew and different restrictions until January 31.

Leader Secretary Naresh Kumar, in an order, mentioned that night time curfew shall be imposed from 9 PM to five AM from January 12.

All executive and personal colleges shall stay closed until January 31, whilst on-line categories shall be hung on operating days, it mentioned.

Universities, faculties and technical establishments have been suggested to keep watch over the timing in their categories with 50 in step with cent attendance and adherence to COVID protocols.

Best totally vaccinated folks from different states shall be allowed to go into Arunachal Pradesh, it mentioned.

Workplaces, bars, eating places, gymnasiums, public delivery, swimming polls and cinema halls will function with 50 in step with cent capability, whilst trade institutions whose proprietors and staffers were totally vaccinated can function until 8 PM, the order said.

It suggested calling off or firming down Republic Day and golden jubilee birthday party of Arunachal Pradesh.

The order banned mass gatherings and weekly haats.

Arunachal Pradesh witnessed a spurt in COVID-19 instances from January 4, with 340 instances being reported since then.

The state’s tally stood at 55,692, of which 352 are energetic instances.

A complete of 14.98 lakh doses were administered.
