Haridwar is set to receive a major boost in healthcare infrastructure as Union Home Minister Amit Shah prepares to inaugurate the Patanjali Emergency and Critical Care Hospital on Thursday. His first stop at 10 AM will be Maharishi Dayanand Gram at Patanjali Yogpeeth, where the new hospital will be unveiled. The day’s highlight includes a grand public event at Bairagi Island celebrating the birth centenary of Param Vandaniya Mata Bhagwati Devi Sharma and the Akhand Deep Shatabdi Varsh. Titled ‘Shatabdi Varsh Samaroah 2026,’ the gathering will draw devotees from India and abroad. On Wednesday, Shah participated in the centenary release of Kalyan magazine at Geeta Bhawan in Rishikesh.
