The Amarnath Yatra is underway, with over 26,000 pilgrims visiting the holy cave shrine in the past two days. The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, highlighted the comprehensive arrangements made for the Yatris, emphasizing the importance of a smooth and secure journey. The Yatra has already seen a large number of devotees arriving in the Kashmir Valley. RFID tags are being used for pilgrim tracking. The 38-day Yatra started on July 3 and will conclude on August 9. The administration has set up 34 lodging centers across Jammu and Kashmir.
