The development follows Rahul Gandhi’s allegations against the Election Commission of “cheating” during the voter list revision process. Gandhi has claimed to have evidence of manipulation, including the addition and deletion of voters. The opposition has raised concerns that this process is an attempt to disenfranchise voters, especially from marginalized communities, potentially influencing the outcome of the upcoming assembly elections.
