Lucknow, February 18: Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav unleashed a scathing attack on the BJP, accusing it of hatching a conspiracy to tarnish the unity of the PDA alliance and sow discord among the youth. Speaking at the party headquarters in Lucknow, Yadav warned workers against the BJP’s divisive tactics.
He charged that the BJP harbors a deep aversion to democracy, secularism, and socialism, constantly working to undermine constitutional values. ‘The BJP is uncomfortable with the PDA’s solidarity. They are plotting to defame it and create rifts among young voters,’ Yadav asserted, addressing leaders and cadres from various districts.
Emphasizing vigilance, he urged party members to stay alert to the BJP’s ‘negative propaganda machine’ and focus on strengthening the organization. ‘Avoid all negativity and build a robust structure,’ he advised.
Yadav reaffirmed the Samajwadi Party’s commitment to the ideals of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia and Babasaheb Ambedkar. ‘PDA is the only path forward. Work with unity and coordination. Uttar Pradesh’s assembly elections are crucial, and our government is set to return,’ he declared confidently.
Highlighting development politics, Yadav stressed the need for a Samajwadi government to uplift farmers, the poor, and youth while driving comprehensive state progress. He accused the current regime of having no substantial achievements of its own, merely claiming credit for his government’s past initiatives.
As election fervor builds, Yadav’s call for unity signals a strategic push to consolidate the opposition’s diverse voter base against the ruling BJP.
