During his address at IIT Madras, Ajit Doval defended ‘Operation Sindoor’, emphasizing the successful strikes on nine terrorist bases in Pakistan. He credited indigenous technology and the Indian Army’s effectiveness in the operation. This military action was in retaliation for the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22. Doval refuted Pakistan’s allegations and criticized foreign media outlets, urging them to provide evidence of any damage to India. He stated that the strikes were executed with such accuracy that all targets were hit. The foreign media’s coverage, which was seen as being in favor of Pakistan, came under fire from Doval. He pointed to satellite images as proof of India’s ability to cause damage. The strikes on the morning of May 7, eliminated over 100 terrorists.
