Air India aircraft sporting round 240 Indians from Ukraine lands at Delhi airport

NEW DELHI: An Air India aircraft sporting round 240 Indians from Ukraine landed on the Delhi airport on Tuesday evening, amid emerging tensions between the Jap Ecu country and Russia.

The flight AI 1946 landed on the Indira Gandhi Global Airport right here at round 11.40 pm. It took off from Boryspil Global Airport in Kyiv at round 6 pm (Indian Usual Time). The airline operated a Boeing 787 plane, which had left for Ukraine within the morning.

Previous within the day, Air India flight AI 1947 took off from the nationwide capital at round 7.30 am and landed at Boryspil Global Airport at round 3 pm (IST).

In a tweet at about 9.46 pm, Minister of State for Exterior Affairs V Muraleedharan mentioned round 250 Indians and scholars belonging to quite a lot of states are coming back from Ukraine to Delhi this night. “Extra flights within the coming days to assist Indians go back,” he mentioned.
