    AIIMS Bhubaneswar has confirmed the death of a 20-year-old student from Balasore who died after setting herself on fire. The student, from Fakir Mohan Autonomous College, was admitted to the Burns Centre ICU on July 12 and despite medical efforts, she passed away on July 14. The incident sparked protests outside AIIMS Bhubaneswar, with Congress workers being detained. The student’s actions followed her claims of sexual harassment by her Head of Department, and that her pleas were ignored. Odisha’s CM expressed sorrow and assured the family of justice.
