In a concerning development, over a dozen individuals were hospitalized in Madhya Pradesh following a picnic outing at Ajaygarh fort. The group, residents of Sahai village in Panna district, consumed puris made with ghee, which is now suspected to be the cause of their illness. The affected individuals began vomiting shortly after consuming the food, and were promptly rushed to a local hospital. The Food Department’s investigation has indicated that the ghee may have been adulterated. Samples have been collected for testing to confirm the findings. Authorities are taking the matter seriously and have pledged to take action against those who sold or supplied the adulterated product. Additionally, sampling has commenced at the shop where the ghee originated.
