In a commendable initiative, the Adani Foundation has rolled out the ‘Shourya Path’ program in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, targeting young aspirants eager to join India’s armed forces. Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts in the Gondulppara mining project area, 24 selected youth from project-affected villages have been sent to the Rashtriya Raksha University in Ahmedabad for a rigorous residential Border Security Force (BSF) training program.

These young participants hail not just from Gondulppara but also from villages like Tamna, Purunga, Dhirouli, and Lamatola in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. This 90-day free residential course is designed to equip them with the skills needed for defense services, paramilitary forces, and even private security sectors. The curriculum emphasizes physical fitness, discipline, competitive exam preparation, private security certifications, and basic cyber security training, aligning with evolving security demands.

Local residents have hailed the program as a game-changer for the region’s youth. ‘This opens doors to stable careers and instills confidence and leadership,’ said one villager. The foundation’s broader CSR portfolio in the area already includes mobile health units, scholarships, coaching classes, women self-help group empowerment, drinking water facilities, and community infrastructure development.

‘ Shourya Path’ marks yet another stride in social upliftment, empowering youth with opportunities to serve the nation while securing their futures. As these trainees embark on their journey, the initiative underscores corporate commitment to grassroots development and national security aspirations.
