In a grand ceremony at Kalki Dham in Sambhal, Acharya Pramod Krishnam, the Peethadheeshwar of Kalki Dham, was bestowed with the prestigious ‘Jagatguru’ title on Thursday during the Kalki Sthapana Diwas celebrations. The honor was conferred by Mahant Ravindra Puri, President of the Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad, in the presence of revered saints from various akhadas.
The event unfolded with great reverence as saints showered flowers on Acharya Pramod Krishnam and offered their blessings. Mahamandaleshwar Swami Balakand Giri of Anand Akhada announced that henceforth, the Kalki Peethadheeshwar would be known as Poojya Pad Jagatguru Poojya Swami Pramod Krishnam Bharti Ji Maharaj.
Expressing profound gratitude, Acharya Pramod Krishnam thanked Mahant Ravindra Puri for the recognition. ‘I am deeply thankful to the Akhada Parishad President for this honor. Yet, I wish to remain a humble servant of Sanatan Dharma and the world at large,’ he stated. He dedicated his life to the propagation of Shri Kalki Dham and Lord Kalki, emphasizing his commitment to Sanatan values.
Acharya Pramod reflected on the unexpected nature of the accolade, noting he had never dreamed of receiving such a supreme title. This was the first time Mahant Ravindra Puri attended the Kalki Sthapana Diwas, and Acharya Pramod humbly admitted he couldn’t even welcome him properly.
The ceremony highlighted the unity among saints and reinforced Acharya Pramod’s role as a spiritual leader. His recent comments criticizing Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, comparing his actions to those of separatists in Kashmir, add context to his bold stance on national issues, further cementing his influence in religious and political discourse.
