JAIPUR: 4 individuals were detained after 5 truck drivers have been allegedly overwhelmed up via some other people at the suspicion of smuggling livestock in Rajasthan’s Ajmer district, police stated on Friday.
Kishangarh Deputy Superintendent of Police Manish Sharma stated the incident took place on Thursday night time when the vehicles have been transporting livestock to Indore in Madhya Pradesh.
Upon attaining Kishangarh, the vehicles have been stopped and the drivers have been thrashed on suspicion of smuggling livestock.
A staff of police team of workers rushed to the spot and intervened and dispersed the mob, Sharma stated.
In response to a grievance lodged via some of the drivers, the police registered a case and detained 4 individuals, he stated, including the drivers won minor accidents and their situation used to be mentioned to be solid after remedy.
The truck drivers claimed they’d bought the livestock from the Bhakri animal honest in Nagaur.
