A mild earthquake measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale struck Maharashtra’s Palghar district today. According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), the tremors were felt in several parts of the coastal district, with the epicenter located at a depth of 10 kilometers. While the vibrations caused brief panic among local residents, there have been no reports of casualties or significant damage to property. Local authorities have urged citizens to remain calm and follow safety protocols in case of aftershocks.
