New Delhi witnessed a landmark event as Satcon 2026, organized by Sattvik Certifications, wrapped up successfully at a prominent hotel. This one-day conference emerged as a pivotal milestone for India’s food and certification sectors, drawing over 250 delegates from food and consumer goods industries, luxury hospitality, academia, certification bodies, and policymakers.

Representatives from seven nations—Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, UAE, Qatar, and South Korea—joined the fray, underscoring the surging global appetite for pure vegetarian and vegan food systems. Discussions revolved around three core pillars: consciousness, dialogue, and collaboration. Experts delved into empowering vegetarian certifications, building consumer trust, and promoting ethical food practices.

Panel sessions tackled critical topics like raising awareness of Sattvik standards, expanding veg options in luxury hospitality, conscious culinary arts, ethical leadership, and the need for uniform global food norms. Networking sessions fostered exchanges between industry leaders and policymakers on enhancing food safety, regulatory compliance, and transparency.

The event gained stature with the presence of Jharkhand Governor and former Union Minister Santosh Gangwar, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Arjun Ram Meghwal, MP and former minister B.L. Verma, New Delhi MP Bansuri Swaraj, and Sattvik Certifications Chairman Vagish Pathak. Their participation highlighted the vital synergy between industry, certifiers, and government.

Addressing the gathering, Santosh Gangwar emphasized how such forums bridge gaps between industry, government, and consumers, paving the way for a transparent food ecosystem. Arjun Ram Meghwal stressed that dialogue between certifiers and policymakers ensures better rule adherence. B.L. Verma noted that consumer trust forms the bedrock of a robust food economy, with events like Satcon 2026 fortifying it.

Bansuri Swaraj remarked, ‘Satcon 2026 reflects the rising emphasis on purity, transparency, and accountability in food systems. When industry and government converge on such platforms, consumer confidence soars, and standards for responsible practices are set.’ Vagish Pathak affirmed that the conference signals a collective shift toward safe, conscious food choices, positioning vegetarian certification as a global imperative.

Sattvik Certifications founder Abhishek Biswas described the energy as invigorating, with the event uniting ideas and actions to deliver practical solutions rooted in purity, safety, and trust. Major industry backers including Goldie Masale, K.B. Products (Nakoda brand), Vimal Agro Products, Bikanervala Foods, Tirupati Food, Tanshu Australia, Sapphire Blue, and Blue Tribe Foods amplified the discussions’ impact.

Satcon 2026 not only solidified India’s stature in pure vegetarian food systems but also set a blueprint for international collaboration, promising a future where ethical eating is the norm.
