Arun Yadav Accuses Madhya Pradesh Hospital of Using Water Bottle for IV Drip

Former Union minister and ex‑Congress state chief Arun Yadav launched a sharp attack on Madhya Pradesh’s health system on July 23. He claimed that a government hospital in Dindori was attaching an IV drip to a simple water bottle. Yadav shared a video on social media that shows a patient lying on a bed while a drip hangs from a bottle filled with water and medicine. He questioned the administration, saying the practice reveals a ‘double‑engine’ health model promoted by the ruling party. Yadav added that the state’s health infrastructure relies on ventilators for publicity while ordinary citizens continue to face inadequate treatment and poverty. He warned that the Congress will keep exposing such irregularities, citing images of patients on cots and bodies being transported on motorcycles. The government, meanwhile, says it is recruiting doctors and upgrading facilities.
