Mumbai’s Juhu beach turned into a vibrant carnival on Tuesday as television celebrities gathered at JVPD ground to kick off Holi celebrations with colors, music, and unbridled joy. The event drew a constellation of TV stars, setting the stage for an unforgettable festival bash.

Bhojpuri actress Aakansha Puri stole the spotlight, not just with her festive enthusiasm but with a major announcement. Speaking exclusively to media at the venue, she revealed that her new film is set for release this Wednesday. ‘I make it a point to stay in Mumbai for Holi every year,’ she shared. ‘Nowhere else does the festival match this energy. It’s a chance to reconnect with everyone, and this time it’s extra special with my movie dropping tomorrow. I’m thrilled!’

Nostalgia filled the air as Aakansha reminisced about her childhood Holi in Indore. ‘We’d roam the streets munching on jalebis, poha, and samosas, splashing colors and dunking friends into water tanks,’ she recalled fondly. ‘Those memories make me wish I could turn back time.’

Joining the revelry was Adrijja Roy from Anupamaa, who expressed her love for hometown festivities but embraced Mumbai’s version. ‘Nothing beats Holi back home, but I’ve been celebrating here for four years now,’ she said with a smile, colors already smudging her face.

Actor Aman Gandhi, buzzing with excitement, declared Holi his absolute favorite festival. ‘I’ve been prepping since last night,’ he laughed. ‘The fun isn’t just in playing with colors—gujiya sweets are the real highlight. I steer clear of bhaang, though.’

Even award-winning Bollywood DJ Shahdo flew in from Dubai to partake. ‘Holi connects me to music and celebrates the heart,’ he enthused, ready to spin tracks that would amplify the party’s vibe.

As the sun set over Juhu, the celebrations promised to stretch into the night, blending tradition with celebrity glamour in true Mumbai style.
