Asha Parekh shot the superhit film ‘Dil Deke Dekho’ in 1959 and ‘Phir Wahi Dil Laaya Hoon’ in 1963 in Kashmir. Waheeda Rehman’s film ‘Kabhi Kabhi’ was also shot in Srinagar. Helen’s films like ‘Junglee’ and ‘Das Lakh’ were also shot in Kashmir.
