Filmmaker Karan Johar says the coronavirus pandemic propelled him to make a ‘quintessential Bollywood’ film in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani as his subsequent directorial project. Written through Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan and Sumit Roy, the affection tale marks the filmmaker’s go back to movie route after the 2016 romantic drama Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
The film stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, along cinema veterans Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.
