The announcement teaser for ‘Border 2’, starring Sunny Deol, is scheduled for release on August 15, 2025. The teaser will be digitally launched on August 15, and its KDM will be shown in all multiplexes during the Independence Day weekend, coinciding with ‘War 2’. The producers have agreed with the National Multiplex Series to present the ‘Border 2’ teaser with ‘War 2’.

‘Border 2’s’ KDM will also reach single-screen theaters throughout India. The film is produced by JP Dutta, Bhushan Kumar, and Nidhi Dutta, positioned as a large-scale war film in Indian cinema. Set during the 1971 India-Pakistan war, it continues the story from ‘Border’ (1997). Producers are also working on a remake of the popular song “Sandese Aate Hai”, enlisting Sonu Nigam and Arijit Singh.
