Song Young-kyu, Star of ‘Big Bet,’ Found Dead Amidst Investigation

Actor Song Young-kyu, known for his roles in South Korean productions such as ‘Big Bet,’ ‘Hwarang,’ and ‘Hot Stove League,’ has passed away. He was discovered deceased in his car on August 3rd. The cause of death is currently under investigation by the authorities. News of his death comes after a recent incident where Song Young-kyu was apprehended for driving under the influence. The incident resulted in the loss of several projects and roles for the actor. He was found in a car at a townhouse complex in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province. A known acquaintance reportedly found him in the vehicle. Following his arrest, Song Young-kyu’s blood alcohol level was found to be 0.08%. The actor is survived by his wife and two daughters.
