    September 2025 is shaping up to be a significant month for K-drama fans, with a diverse selection of new series hitting various streaming platforms. The lineup includes a thriller based on a French series, a crime drama, a political conspiracy series, an emotional drama about friendship, and an action film. Additionally, several ongoing series will conclude during the month.

    “Queen Mantis” is a dark thriller about a detective forced to work with his imprisoned mother, a serial killer, to solve a new series of crimes mirroring her past. The cast includes Go Hyun-jung, Jang Dong-yoon, Cho Seong-ha, and Lee El, with a release date of September 5 on Netflix and Viki.

    “Confidence Queen” centers on a con artist named Yi-rang and her team, as they execute daring scams against greedy targets. The series promises excitement and entertainment. The cast includes Park Min-young, Park Hee-soon, and Joo Jong-hyuk and will be available on Amazon Prime on September 6.

    “Tempest” involves a diplomat and a special agent who join forces to investigate a conspiracy after a presidential candidate is shot. The series, featuring Jun Ji-hyun, Gang Dong-won, John Cho, Lee Mi-sook, and Park Hae-joon, is set to premiere on Disney+ on September 10.

    “You and Everything Else” explores the complexities of love, loss, and friendship. The series features Kim Go-eun, Park Ji-hyun, and Kim Gun-woo and is set to release on Netflix on September 12.

    “Mantis,” a new action film from Netflix, is a sequel to Kill Boksoon, featuring Yim Si Wan as an assassin in a world of chaos, along with Park Gyu Young and Jo Woo Jin. It will be available on September 26.

    Two ongoing dramas will conclude in September: “Beyond the Bar,” a courtroom drama, and “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty,” a fantasy romance.
