Mumbai’s entertainment powerhouse Saregama has dropped a bombshell announcement just in time for Valentine’s Day. The company is diving into animation with ‘Shiv Sati’, a grand feature film set to hit theaters across India this year. This captivating tale reimagines the divine romance of Lord Shiva and Mata Sati, hailed as the cosmos’s inaugural love story.

Rooted in timeless mythology, the narrative weaves threads of profound love, selfless sacrifice, unwavering devotion, and celestial union. Presented through stunning animation, it’s poised to enchant audiences of all ages, from wide-eyed kids to mythology enthusiasts.

A collaboration between Saregama India Limited and Amazing Indian Stories, the project boasts cutting-edge animation techniques crafted specifically for the big screen in large format. Expect breathtaking visuals that immerse viewers in epic grandeur, raw emotions, and spellbinding sequences.

At the helm is acclaimed director Vivek Aanchaliya, known for his hits like ‘Naisha’, ‘Tikdam’, and ‘Rajma Chawal’. He’s blending state-of-the-art visuals with an eternal saga to deliver an unforgettable cinematic experience. Currently in production, the film promises to redefine how Indian myths are told on screen.

Saregama teased the reveal on Instagram, highlighting the film’s massive scale, heartfelt emotions, and visual spectacle. Dropping on Valentine’s Day aligns perfectly with its romantic theme. With a track record of musical successes, Saregama now aims to propel Indian mythology onto the global stage through animation.

Previous Shiva-centric animated ventures, such as ‘The Dancing God Shiva’ showcasing his cosmic Tandav dance, ‘Shiv Parvati’ depicting their wedding bliss, and ‘Shiva: The Secret World of Veda’s City’ unraveling divine mysteries, have already found fans on YouTube and OTT platforms. ‘Shiv Sati’ builds on this momentum, promising a fresh, larger-than-life portrayal.
