Mohit Suri’s ‘Saiyaara’ is dominating the box office, becoming a major hit. The romantic drama, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has earned over Rs 200 crore in just nine days since its release.
On its opening day, the film earned Rs 21.5 crore, followed by Rs 26 crore and Rs 35.75 crore on the second and third days. Collections were steady during the weekdays. At the end of the first week, the film had collected Rs 172.75 crore. Adding Rs 18 crore on day eight.
Estimates indicate a large increase on the second Saturday, with approximately Rs 26.5 crore. ‘Saiyaara’s’ total box office collection after nine days is Rs 217.25 crore.
‘Saiyaara’ is the second Hindi film of 2025 to cross Rs 200 crore. The first was ‘Chhaava’.
The film tells the story of Krish and Vaani. The cast also includes Alam Khan, Geeta Agarwal, Rajesh Kumar, Varun Badola, Shaad Randhawa, Sid Makkar, Shaan Groverr and Neil Dutta.
‘Saiyaara’ is directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Yash Raj Films. Mohit Suri has a history of directing well-received, emotionally-charged love stories, including ‘Awarapan’, ‘Ek Villain’, ‘Aashiqui 2’, ‘Woh Lamhe’, ‘Raaz: The Mysterious Continues’, ‘Murder 2’, ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’, and ‘Malang’.
Ahaan Panday makes his acting debut in ‘Saiyaara,’ and Aneet Padda previously starred in the web series ‘Big Girl Don’t Cry’.
