Rubina Dilaik’s Journey: From Beauty Pageants to Television Stardom

Rubina Dilaik is celebrated as one of the most glamorous actresses in Indian television. Born in Shimla on August 26, 1987, she celebrates her 38th birthday. Her career began with beauty pageants; she won Miss Shimla in 2006. She continued participating and winning beauty contests throughout her school and college years. Dilaik holds degrees in English Literature and Political Science. In 2008, she won the Miss North India title. While preparing for the IAS exam in Chandigarh, she auditioned for a TV show, leading to her selection for ‘Choti Bahu’. The series began in 2009 and featured her in the lead role as Radhika, which brought her widespread recognition. Dilaik made her Bollywood debut with the short film ‘Bareilly Ki Beti’ in 2020. She has also worked in Hindi and Punjabi films, including ‘Ardh’ and ‘Chal Bhaj Chaliye’. She is married to Abhinav Shukla and has two daughters, Jeeva and Edha Shukla. The couple is currently seen together in ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga’.
