Priya Marathe, known for her role as Varsha Satish in the hit series ‘Pavitra Rishta’, has passed away at the age of 38. She died in Mumbai on August 31, 2025, after battling cancer for an extended period. Marathe, a Mumbai native, embarked on her acting career with Marathi serials. She later ventured into Hindi television, gaining recognition for her role in ‘Kasamh Se’. She also participated in the first season of ‘Comedy Circus’. Her portrayal in ‘Pavitra Rishta’ garnered her considerable popularity, and she subsequently appeared in various other shows, including ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain’ and ‘Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap’. She married actor Shantanu Moghe in 2012.
