    Rati Pandey, born on September 11, 1982, in Assam, moved with her family to Patna at the age of seven. She completed her schooling in Patna, where she was a classmate of a sister of the late Sushant Singh Rajput.

    After completing her education at Delhi University, Rati participated in Idea Zee Cinestars ki Khoj in 2006. This led to her acting debut in CID. Her career progressed with roles in the horror show ‘Raat Hone Ko Hai’ on Sahara One, followed by numerous commercials. Rati also appeared in series like ‘Shaadi Street’ and ‘Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai’. Her career continued with the college drama ‘Miley Jab Hum Tum’, which enjoyed a two-year run. In 2011, Rati starred as the lead in the serial ‘Hitler Didi’.

    She also took part in reality shows like ‘Laughter Ke Phatake’, ‘Comedy Circus’, and ‘Zee Rishtey Awards’. In 2016, Rati starred in the successful series ‘Begusarai’. Further roles followed in ‘Porus’ and ‘Vidya’. In 2020, she was part of the hit serial ‘Shaadi Mubarak’.

    Her entry into Bhojpuri cinema started in 2024 with ‘Rang De Basanti’, co-starring Khesari Lal Yadav. This film was described as one of the most expensive Bhojpuri films and was a box office success. In the film, she played Gauri, and her pairing with Khesari was well-received by the audience. Following this, Rati starred with Khesari in the film ‘Rishte’ (2025), in which her romantic song ‘Lavang Latiya’ was a highlight.
