The controversy surrounding ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood,’ Aryan Khan’s directorial venture, has drawn a reaction from actor Rajat Bedi. He spoke about the defamation suit initiated by former NCB official Sameer Wankhede against Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment. Bedi characterized Aryan Khan as ‘a kid’ who has faced significant hardship. While Wankhede represents the government, Bedi implied that Aryan’s personal journey through the ordeal was tough. He stated, ‘I don’t have a lot of comments. I’m not able to say anything, but I think somewhere, he has gone through a little bit of hard things.’ The legal action was prompted by Wankhede’s claim that the series presents a misleading and damaging portrayal of anti-drug agencies and himself, particularly while related cases are still under judicial review. The Delhi High Court has issued summons to the production house and streaming platform.
