Prabhas is set to star in ‘The Raja Saab’ after his cameo appearance this year, with anticipation building since ‘Kalki 2898 AD.’ The film is planned for a Sankranti 2026 release, competing with several other high-profile projects. Teja Sajja’s ‘Mirai’ has achieved substantial success, generating 55 crore globally within two days. The repeated postponements of ‘The Raja Saab’ had created anxiety among fans, and early impressions were not very favorable. However, ‘Mirai’s’ positive reception and impressive VFX work have now sparked optimism for ‘The Raja Saab.’ The team responsible for ‘Mirai’s’ visual effects is also working on ‘Raja Saab,’ leading to high expectations for the film’s visuals. The film’s team is highly focused on graphics and CG shots. The remaining songs for the Maruthi-directed film are scheduled for an October shoot, with a release date targeted for January 9, 2026. Originally, the film was meant to be released in December this year.
