Teja Sajja, already established in the Indian film industry with the hit ‘Hanuman,’ is back with the superhero film ‘Mirai,’ which is gaining significant traction. The film prominently features Ritika Nayak, whose portrayal of a monk has earned her widespread acclaim. Her performance has resonated with both critics and viewers, who appreciate her screen presence and dedication to the role.

Ritika’s performance in ‘Mirai’ builds upon her previous roles in ‘Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam’ and ‘Hi Nanna,’ where she demonstrated her acting capabilities.

Born in Delhi, Ritika received her education there, ultimately earning a Master’s degree from Delhi University. Her foray into the entertainment industry began in 2019 while still in college, with modeling competitions serving as a springboard to acting.

Her acting debut was in ‘Ashoka Vanmalo Arjuna Kalyanam’ opposite Vishwak Sen, where she garnered recognition for her acting skills. Her portrayal of Vasudha led to a SIIMA Award nomination for Best Female Debut – Telugu.

In the 2023 film ‘Hi Nanna,’ Ritika played the character of the grown-up Mahi, sharing the screen with Mrunal Thakur and Nani. In ‘Mirai,’ the Telugu fantasy film, she plays Vibha, and her performance has received praise from both critics and audiences alike.

‘Mirai’ centers on a warrior’s duty to protect nine holy scriptures, capable of transforming mortals into divine beings.

Teja Sajja revealed that director Karthik Ghattamaneni approached him for ‘Mirai’ following the success of ‘Hanuman.’ Sajja recounted how the director presented the challenges of the film to gauge his commitment. Sajja confirmed his dedication to the project.

Alongside Teja Sajja, ‘Mirai’ stars Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, and Shriya Saran in leading roles. Manchu Manoj takes on the role of the main antagonist.
