The actress and model Mannara Chopra is coping with the loss of her father, Raman Rai Handa, who passed away in Mumbai on June 16, 2025. The funeral was held on June 18th, and a prayer ceremony took place on June 19th. Fellow Bigg Boss participants Abhishek Kumar, Sara Arfeen Khan, and Khanzaadi were among those who attended the prayer meet to offer their support. They were present at the Gurudwara to stand by Mannara during this difficult time. Mannara shared the news of her father’s death on social media. She returned to Mumbai with her sister Mitali, looking distraught. Priyanka Chopra, Mannara’s cousin, expressed her condolences. Meera Chopra, another cousin, spoke about the close-knit family and the impact of the loss, noting the bond between Mannara, Mitali and their father. Raman Rai Handa was a lawyer and is survived by his wife, Kamini Chopra Handa, and their daughters, Mannara and Mitali. He spent his last days in Mumbai with his family. The Handa and Chopra families have a long-standing connection.
