Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela’s Film: Anurag Basu Clarifies ‘Saiyaara’ Comparisons

Following the success of Mohit Suri’s ‘Saiyaara’, director Anurag Basu has spoken out to address comparisons to his upcoming film starring Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela. Basu noted that while ‘Saiyaara’ has achieved significant success, his film, titled ‘Aashiqui 3’, will present a different narrative. He stated that the two films are distinct in their plots, highlighting that his film does not share key plot points with ‘Saiyaara’. Basu also mentioned that filming is ongoing, with approximately 40% of the project completed, and that a new shooting schedule is planned for August–September. The schedule adjustment is influenced by Kartik Aaryan’s commitments to another film, which impacts his look continuity.
