‘Idli Kadai’ showcases Dhanush in a multifaceted role as lead actor, writer, and director. The Telugu version, ‘Idli Kottu,’ experienced a challenging box office run due to concurrent releases of major films. Despite this, ‘Idli Kadai’ concluded its theatrical run with a substantial Rs 50.39 crore in collections, having earned Rs 11 crore on its opening day.
