The film, released in 2013, earned a remarkable 19.45 crore in its opening weekend. Later, when ‘Jolly LLB’ was released, Talpade contacted the director to congratulate him. He expressed his admiration for the film, which he thoroughly enjoyed. The director humorously responded, asking if Talpade remembered being offered the role initially. The film’s success led to Arshad Warsi being cast in ‘Jolly LLB 3’, alongside Akshay Kumar.
